Samaria Mission on Facebook

I was born and raised in the Malamulele area in Limpopo Province of South Africa, and grew up in a Christian home, where as a child I regularly attended church with my parents. At that time, I had an understanding that salvation is to be found in the virtues and vices of man. So I would try everything within my power to be right with God. This came with disappointments because every time I tried, I failed miserably. At the age of 19, I was reading through Ephesians 2 and by the grace of God, the Holy Spirit illuminated my spirit to understand that I am a sinner with no ability to save myself. This understanding transformed my perspective. I came to acknowledge the truth that it is only through the works of Christ on the cross that man can be right with God. I haven’t looked back since then.

Walking with Christ has been one of the most joyful journeys of my life. Thus my heart is filled with a desire to see many coming to the realization of this truth. I attended Christ Seminary in Polokwane where I received a Bachelor of Theology in 2011. In 2015, I completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Theology at North-West University in Potchefstroom.  In 2019, I completed an MA in Church History and Dogma History through North-West University.  Presently, I am pursuing a Doctorate at North-West University in Potchefstroom in Church History and Dogma History.

From 2005-2011, I served as the pastor of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God in the Malamulele area. In 2012, I began serving full time with Samaria Mission.

My main responsibilities within the mission include:

•Literary translation of training materials from English to local language (mainly Xitsonga);

• Training pastors for ministry in South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe;

•Assisting to lead various short-term missionary trips for international missionaries

In 2014, I married a lovely lady, Brenda, with whom we are blessed with three beautiful daughters. My first born daughter was born in 2015, while the second one was born in 2017 and the third one was born in 2019.

 “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:1-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬
