Romans 10:13-15
13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? 15 And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News!”

We would like to introduce ourselves as Bradley and Chantél Hixon. We are faith based missionaries serving alongside Samaria Mission.

I, Bradley, am from San Angelo, Texas. The Lord saved me in 1988 and I have served Him ever since through teaching Bible studies, being a Church Elder and Mission Coordinator at Paul Ann Baptist Church in Texas. And now currently as a full time missionary at Samaria Mission.

The Lord initially called me to missions in 1999.

After leading various short term outreaches to Mexico, Guatemala and Mozambique, the Lord in 2004 confirmed a call to fulltime missions. This call was realized in 2012 when the Lord made a way for me and my family to move to Polokwane to serve alongside Samaria Mission.

Shortly after we arrived in 2013 the Lord took my wife home to be with Him. During this time He again confirmed my call to serve with Samaria Mission, and our family continues to do so.

I met Chantél in 2015 on one of our short term outreaches. As I got to know her it became obvious that the Lord has given us the same heart for missions, for our blended family and each other.

I, Chantél, am from Westonaria, South Africa and moved to Polokwane in January 2013. The Lord saved me in 2001 and soon after I felt a calling to missions. Life happened in the meantime whereby I got married in 2003 and three years later we divorced.

Being a single mother made it difficult to be involved in full time missions.

In 2015 my desire for missions grew stronger and the Lord led me to short time outreaches. It was on one of these outreaches with Samaria Mission that I met Bradley who was leading the outreach. We got married Aug 2016 and have a blended family of 7 children of whom 5 is still in the house.

I have since resigned my full time job to answer the Lord’s call for me to full time missions, and now serve together with my husband at Samaria Mission.

We are involved with the following ministries of Samaria Mission:
-Church planting through evangelism and discipleship and biblical training of pastors and church leaders in South Africa, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
-Practical work such as well drilling, church constructions, foundations of farming, orphan ministry and food relieve when needed.
-We also facilitate short-term outreaches for churches to various villages in these countries focusing mainly on evangelism.
